John is a full time Government Affairs Consultant for many companies, associations, trade groups, and others before state government, federal government, local government, and the private sector. John also specializes in association management consulting. He has high accomplishments in government affairs representation and association management through his past experience and current accomplishments.
As far as state government, John has worked to effectively forge relationships with all members, staff, and leadership of the Georgia House, Senate, Governor’s office, Lt. Governor’s office, and every state department. Federally, his contacts and relationships with Georgia’s elected officials and Congressional staffs in Washington, DC are unique and effective, where John constantly achieves clients' objectives. At the local level, John has experienced success and produces results for clients in working with local government officials affiliated with cities and counties as well.
John worked for the highly respected Georgia Automobile Dealers Association in the areas of government affairs and association management for several years. He began his career under former State Representative Roger Hines, who then became the special aide and Messenger to the Speaker of the House.
John graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Speech Communication and Political Science, where he played football. He is an active volunteer in Camp Sunshine, an organization for children with cancer and leukemia. He also serves on the Corporate Leadership Council for Fernbank, Executive Committee of the Buckhead Council of Neighborhoods, Peachtree Hills Civic Association Board of Directors, and a committee that selects scholarship recipients every year from his former high school, Pebblebrook, in Mableton, Ga.
